I'm a designer who accidentally became a community organizer. Now that's the part of my work that compounds the most.

I'm a designer and strategist in New York, but most of what I do comes back to people. I run CreativeCodingNYC, where creative coders get together every week to show work and learn from each other. I've been hosting events and moderating panels for years, and the part I care about is making spaces people actually want to come back to.

My background is design, so UX, research, motion, 3D, and creative coding. That means I can sit in a room with engineers, designers, or execs and keep up with all of them. I like figuring out how something should look and work, but I care more about whether it matters to anyone.

Usually that comes down to who's in the room. I've also made something every day for over 1,800 days straight. It's not really a discipline thing. I just like showing up in public, where people can see it and say something back.
